How long does it take to get my order?

Orders within Canada typically arrive in 2-7 business days.

Do you ship outside of Canada?

Not yet. At this time, we only ship within Canada, but we’re working on expanding internationally soon. Updates will be posted on our Shipping Policy page.

Can I change my shipping details after placing an order?

We’re unable to guarantee changes once an order is placed, but please contact us at hello@kobeirice.com with your order number as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to update it before processing.

Where can I buy KOBEI Rice?

For now, KOBEI Rice is available through our online store at www.kobeirice.com and select retail partners. We’re actively working on expanding our retail and wholesale program. Stay tuned for updates.

Do you accept special orders?

Yes. Please contact us with your request at hello@kobeirice.com, and our team will review and let you know if we can accommodate it.

Returns

What is your return policy?

Unopened products can be returned within 15 days of delivery. Customers are responsible for return shipping, and original shipping fees are non-refundable. Full details are in our Returns & Refund Policy page.

Can I cancel or edit an order once it’s been placed?

Orders can’t be changed or canceled once shipped. If you need to make a change, please contact us at hello@kobeirice.com with your order number right after placing your order so we can try to assist before it is processed.

Subscriptions

How does the subscription work?

Subscribing saves you 10% on every order and ensures you’ll always have KOBEI Rice on hand. You can choose how often you’d like it delivered—every 2, 4, 6, or 8 weeks.

Can I pause or cancel a subscription order?

Yes. You can pause, skip, update, or cancel your subscription anytime before your next billing date through the customer portal. If you need help or run into any issues, just reach out to us at hello@kobeirice.com. Please refer to our Cancellation Policy page for more information.

Is it grain-free?

No, KOBEI Rice contains rice flour.

Where is KOBEI Rice made?

KOBEI Rice is produced in China. The konjac and rice used are also grown in China.

What does “dry rice” mean?

“Dry rice” refers to uncooked rice that needs to be prepared in a pot, on the stove, or in a rice cooker before eating.

What does KOBEI Rice taste like?

KOBEI Rice has a taste and texture much like Jasmine rice.

How do I cook KOBEI Rice?

KOBEI Rice can be prepared in a rice cooker or on the stove using a 1:1 ratio of rice to water. If cooking on the stove, bring water to a boil separately, then pour it over the rice, cover, and let it sit for 10–15 minutes until absorbed. For detailed instructions, please visit our How To page.

What is the right serving size?

A typical serving is about 50g to 60g of uncooked dried KOBEI Rice per person, though this can be adjusted to your preference.

Can I eat KOBEI Rice every day or replace traditional rice with it?

Yes, KOBEI Rice is safe to enjoy daily as part of a balanced diet. It can be used as a replacement for traditional rice if you’re looking for a lighter, lower-carb, and lower-calorie option.

Storage

How should I store it?

KOBEI Rice should be stored in a cool, dry place. Once the package is opened, keep it sealed tightly in its bag or transfer it to an airtight container.

Can I reheat KOBEI Rice or eat it as leftovers?

Yes, once cooked, KOBEI Rice can be stored and reheated like other prepared foods. Refrigerate any leftovers in a sealed container and consume them within 1-2 days. When reheating, make sure the rice is heated through before serving. As with any rice or grain-based dish, please follow safe food handling and storage practices.
